Wherever you're coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you've prepared well. We've compiled a list of handy tips that will help get your Corrente escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, put in your passport, official ID, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet crammed with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch more than just forty winks, a quality neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll hop off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to be as comfortable as possible. Choose shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a sweater in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
