No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're prepared. We've put together a list of handy tips that will help get your Darna escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, put in your passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy novel and a phone filled with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to take a quick snooze, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll hop off the plane looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- The result of lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers on long-haul flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
