Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Erts could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some handy tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, your medications and maybe a cozy neck pillow too. Lastly, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a pullover in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
