No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you're well organized. We've made a list of handy hints that will get your Faraone escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, travel documents, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you plan to take a quick nap, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible option, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To lessen your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks and keep your feet and legs moving.
