Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Finhan could be a breeze or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some useful travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a worry-free flight experience is to pack in advance. Start with the essentials: passport, travel documents, cash and vital medications. Next, bring items that'll help keep you entertained, like some electronic devices or a juicy novel. You'll also want to bring your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earphones. Finally, be sure to squeeze in toiletries like a toothbrush, facial wipes and a spare change of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and take a cardigan as it tends to get cool inside the cabin. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a good idea too.
- You've probably heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by reduced mobility or inactivity. There's plenty you can do to minimize your risk. Wear a quality pair of compression tights or socks, drink lots of water often and move your legs and feet. Walk around the cabin when possible or try out some simple stretches in your seat.
