Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you're prepared. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Frejlev vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack your passport, important documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a laptop filled with your favorite movies are good options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a quality neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a few toiletry items to ensure you step off the plane feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Pick a pair of slip-on shoes, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
