Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Guys could be completely painless or it could go on forever. We've put together some useful hints that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare set of clothes and a good read. Next, find a spot in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to bring your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be the goal when deciding what to wear on your flight. Consider your footwear carefully too, as swollen feet are a common occurrence. Roomy, closed-toed shoes are your best bet.
- Most travelers have heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. There's lots you can do to lessen your risk. Wear a good-quality pair of compression socks, stay well hydrated and remember to keep your legs and feet moving. Walk around the cabin when possible or try out some exercises in your seat.
