Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well. We've compiled a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Jaito vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a clean set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, leave space in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to be as comfortable as you can. Opt for slip-on footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to bring a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To lessen your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your lower limbs often.
