Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Konfeld could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some handy hints that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple — first, pack your passport, official ID, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and some earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a few toiletry items so you'll arrive at your destination feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are not the best place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and remember to take a sweater as it tends to get cool in the cabin on long-haul flights. Flat, enclosed shoes are always a good idea too.
- Unfortunately, a risk of long-haul flights is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity. To avoid this, take every opportunity to stretch your legs and walk around the cabin. Compression socks and tights are another great idea to help lower your risk.
