Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well organized. We've compiled a list of top travel tips that will help get your Kuklík vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you bring the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare pair of socks and a good novel. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, your medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a pocket knife hiding in the bottom of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and pick shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to remove.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
