We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our top tips and you'll be breezing through airport security and enjoying LaVale in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be easy if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, make room in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to take your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
