Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've planned ahead. We've made a list of handy hints that will get your Le Sourn escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple — first, pack in your passport, travel docs, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling book and a laptop crammed with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, squeeze in a few toiletry items so you'll touchdown feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to bring a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long-haul flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
