Wherever you're coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you prepare well enough. We've made a list of handy hints that will help get your Louviers vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a good book. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a comfy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your goal here is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to take a sweater in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
