We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight as enjoyable as possible. Follow our top tips and you'll be breezing through the airport and discovering Moudros in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, pack your passport, important documents, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a laptop crammed with your favorite movies are some terrific options. If you intend to catch a few z's, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll touchdown feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of banned items can differ between air carriers, the general rule of thumb is avoid carrying anything flammable, sharp or explosive. This includes screwdrivers, drills, fuel and fireworks. Sporting equipment like baseball bats, and items that could injure passengers, such as firearms and ammunition, are also banned from the cabin.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to feel as comfortable as you can. Choose easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to take a pullover in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and keep your legs and feet moving.
