If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be overwhelming. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these helpful hints and enjoy a pleasant start to your vacation in Nghia Lo. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, pack your passport, travel documents, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy novel and a tablet crammed with your favorite movies are some terrific options. If you plan to take a short nap, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll hop off the plane feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to feel as comfortable as you can. Opt for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
