Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Ollo could be completely painless or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some useful tips that will help you start your next big adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, put in your passport, important documents, credit cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favorite movies are always good options. If you hope to take a quick snooze, a quality neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you step off the plane looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in temperature by donning layers, and wear slightly roomy, flat shoes like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
