Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Pychas could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've put together some handy hints that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The trick to having a worry-free flight experience is to pack in advance. Start with the essentials: passport, travel docs, bank cards and medications. Next, take on board items that'll help keep you busy, like your laptop or a magazine. It's also a wise idea to bring your chargers, a neck pillow and a pair of headphones. And of course, be sure to chuck in toiletry items like a toothbrush, lip balm and a spare set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when picking what to wear during your flight. Consider your footwear choice carefully too, as swollen ankles and feet are a common side effect of flying. Flat shoes which are slightly roomy are always a good idea.
- It's likely you've heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. There's lots you can do to reduce your risk. Wear compression tights or socks, drink lots of water and get your legs and feet moving. Wander around the cabin or perform some stretches in your seat.
