If you're poorly prepared, airports and flying can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these useful tips for a trouble-free start to your vacation in Río Mayo. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be easy if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean set of clothes and something to read. Next, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any daily medications and maybe a cozy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and go for shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
