We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and you'll be hightailing it through airport security and seeing the best of Rodilana in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, official ID, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a laptop filled with your favorite movies are good options. If you hope to catch up on some sleep, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll step off the plane feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and poisons, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for slip-on footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a sweater in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
