If you're poorly prepared, air travel can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy tips for a stress-free start to your vacation in Rouille. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a cruisy experience if you pack the right stuff. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your laptop, a charger, medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive goods, such as bleach and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort really should be the goal when deciding what to wear on your flight. Consider your footwear choice with care too, as swelling of the feet and ankles can be a side effect of flying. Shoes which are flat and slightly roomy are your best bet.
- The serious condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Doing regular foot and leg exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a quality pair of compression tights or socks may also help.
