We've pulled together all the info you need to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and discovering Sabel in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, important documents, wallet and medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling novel and a phone filled with your favorite movies are some fantastic options. If you plan to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you hop off the plane feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and choose shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to remove.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
