If you're poorly prepared, air travel can be challenging. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these helpful hints and enjoy a hassle-free start to your time in Stewart Valley. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you bring the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a spare set of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, make room in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any vital medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to go for comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes in the cabin by donning layers, and opt for slightly roomy, flat footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
