If you're not prepared, air travel can be testing. But there's no need to panic. Follow these handy tips and enjoy a pleasant start to your vacation in Vaslui. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, official ID, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling novel and a phone crammed with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and some earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Choose a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to take a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
