No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well. We've put together a list of handy hints that will help get your Vichelovo vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a cruisy experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare change of clothes and a good book. Next, find a spot in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to be as comfortable as possible. Choose shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your legs and ankles moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
