No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've planned ahead. We've made a list of handy hints that will get your Yugorsk vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, pack your passport, official ID, credit cards and medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a tablet filled with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you intend to catch forty winks, a quality neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll arrive at your destination looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to feel as comfortable as possible. Go for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
