“Staff was very helpful and told of the sights we shouldn’t miss. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Room was clean and fresh. ”

“Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street ”

“From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

“An absolutely beautiful authentic old inn. 10/10 on character. We had our dinner in the pub below and the food was amazing. We can't say enough good comments about this inn. ”

My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!”
