8/10
I recently stayed at Hotel Orlovetz and overall had a good experience, but with some notable drawbacks.
The hotel itself is greatโthe rooms are very clean, modern, and offer the best views you can get in Pamporovo. Waking up to those mountain views was definitely a highlight of the stay.
The breakfast was really good with a nice variety, but dinner was inconsistent. On Friday and Saturday, the food was great, but during the weekdays, it wasnโt nearly as good, likely due to fewer guests. Another issue was that they stopped bringing out fresh food by 7:40โ8:00 PM, even though dinner is supposed to be served until 9:00 PM.
One of the biggest disappointments for a 5-star hotel was the heating system. Thereโs no way to control the temperature in the roomโit runs on a central system and was unbearably hot. When we asked about it, we were simply told to open the windows, which is not what youโd expect from a luxury hotel.
Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the hotel doesnโt quite live up to a true 5-star standard in terms of service and amenities.
