This is an exceptional hotel experience from the moment you enter and are seated with a welcome drink and have the registration form brought to you on an elegant clipboard to sign until you leave with a delicious snack to enjoy en route. There is a consummate attention to detail in design and service that encompasses your entire visit. The complimentary afternoon tea and the offerings in the Ghin restaurant are exquisitely memorable. And a perfect location within the old city to boot!

We received the most amazing service at the Inside House. We must give a shout out to to Big and Annie who were so wonderful and sweet! They made our stay so special. The rooms were fantastic- the nicest I’ve ever stayed at. We had rooms with our own swimming pools and a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast was terrific with lots of choices for local cuisine and they were able to make any of the entrees vegetarian for me ☺️

The Inside House is such a unique, serene and happy place. Beautiful property, great rooms, kind people. The restaurant is awesome, and served a really wonderful afternoon tea! Everyone was so thoughtful and sweet, even packed us to go sandwiches after check out, so we could enjoy at the airport. Don't hesitate! Book it! You won't regret it!

I can't recommend the Inside House enough for a stay in Chiang Mai. The rooms and common areas are so elegant and peaceful even though it's right in the middle of the city. The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive—and the breakfast and tea service were delightful each day.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Staff are so sweet and helpful; loved our room & pool, packed with every amenity. Just a beautiful oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai. The food choices were broad and excellent - we especially loved afternoon tea daily and those passion fruit shakes. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Sad to leave such a special place - up there with my favorite properties in the world! Hope to return some day!

Great hotel with super service. One day our room wasn’t cleaned and they upgraded our room and gave a free diner. The rooms are great and the food wonderful. The service is about the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world

Calming and Beautiful Oasis

This place is a hidden gem. It is so beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches that make this an oasis of calm in a busy town. Service was very attentive and the food was fabulous. The bedding was very comfortable, but the bed was very firm. We loved how easy it was to get around to all the spots in the old city.

Oasis of a hotel

An oasis in Chiang Mai. The hotel is breath taking and the staff is very friendly. They thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Room was beautiful, pool was great, and food was delicious. Absolutely worth it! One recommendation is to add more photos of the main pool to the website. So much nicer in person.

We loved this property! The food was excellent! The complementary afternoon tea with magnificent desserts was phenomenal! The rooms were beautifully decorated. The restaurant staff was exceptionally attentive and polite. The front desk was extremely helpful in providing cars, tuk tuks and any other forms of transportation you needed. They had great suggestions for other restaurants. The hotel is perfectly located to the Sunday market most of the Pagodas in downtown Chiang Mai, shopping and restaurants. We loved this hotel! Very Zen!!

An oasis within the old city! A beautiful hotel with excellent service and attention to detail. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant (breakfast, tea and dinner) the spa (jet leg and happy feet massages) and the pools (central and private room). Also loved the hotel’s tasteful decor with its beautiful gardens and floral touches throughout. A shout out to the door and front desk staff for their warm welcome and kindness and to Best and the other fantastic restaurant staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Hands-down our best stay in all of Thailand! I enthusiastically recommend The Inside House. The service is top-notch and the rooms are exactly as pictured. It was our honeymoon, and they went above and beyond to make it special for us. Breakfast and afternoon tea are included every day of your stay, and the food is delicious!! Overall an incredible value for what you pay for, we couldn't believe that it was included in the room price! Definitely book your stay here -- you will not regret it!
