I love this hotel and its restaurant. It is located in the old part of town, so don’t expect luxury or luxury stores around it. However, I appreciated being in the middle of a traditional neighborhood and just being able to walk around safely. The staff is nothing but kind, nice and attentive. And the food at the restaurant was fresh, affordable and really exceeded my expectations

Great place to stay. Slightly off the main road which made it quiet but also easy to get places. Breakfast as a vegan was a great draw. Great choices and well presented. Different spaces to sit depending on whether you wanted bustle or quiet. Nice roof Terrace for hanging out. Staff friendly and attentive. Enjoyed watching their lively puppy careering about . Nothing negative for me would definitely return

This was such a fantastic choice for a stay in Chiang Mai. My friend and I aren't vegans, but would absolutely stay here again - the staff was wonderful, the location was perfect (near to local life, but felt like a quiet retreat away from things once you were inside). I'm so happy we stayed here.

I stayed at the Green Tiger for 10 days. I loved it. Very clean, the food was excellent the location was wonderful in a quieter area of the old city. The staff was exceptional. So helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!!!

This place is absolutely magical! The decor and ambiance is like no other. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay! The manager is an absolute sweetheart so did everything in her power to make sure we were comfortable and safe. I’m still daydreaming of this house!! I am in love!

We liked the sunsets from the balcony and the breakfast choices were great. It would be the best if they improve the brightness in the room. Otherwise, all staffs were exceptionally nice and cooperative. We highly recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was awesome! The inclusive vegan breakfast was amazing. So many options and fresh delicious food. We actually ate a lot of our meals at the hotel because of the quality and selection. They offered 24/7 complimentary bread, water, coffee and tea which was really nice. They do a good job to go green, reusable water bottles, a water station, bamboo straws. Great walkability to other attractions in the area. We stayed on the top 4th floor with mountain views that was great for sunset. They also have a rooftop terrace which is great for sundowners, reading or even some yoga. Would totally stay again and would recommend to others.

Very clean rooms. We were in Room 406 so on the top floor. Good views of old town and tea and coffee making facility on this floor which is thoughtful. The staff are very helpful in booking trips. One lady on reception booked us on the Mae Ping cruise and ensured we got free transport both to and from the hotel which was great. The breakfasts were amazing and the best we have ever had in any hotel. We didn't need to eat lunch after breakfast! We are ate in the cafe/restaurant on a number of nights and again the food was first class. Yes it's vegan and so very tasty! The portions are large so we shared a starter and sometimes one and two main courses and we're nicely replete. The location in the old town is lovely and quit but 5-10 minutes walk to all the attractions. Perfect!

We stayed at this property for two nights on our honeymoon in January 2020. It’s very clean, very well kept, and the staff is amazing. The restaurant downstairs serves great food at a great price. The AC worked and it’s central to tons of things to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location- Close to temples and not too far from night bazaars. Property is in a crowded area but has an airy and relaxed feel to it.

Absolutely loved staying at The Green Tiger House! It’s in a quieter location but close enough to walk around to some Wats and great massages! You will need to wake up to the main road a block away to grab Tuk Tuk to get around to the night market, restaurants on the river and the Silver Temple. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful - the breakfast is YUMMY. The coconut yogurt is delicious I want to take some home with me! I love the vibe of the main lobby/dining area...it’s open and welcoming. The room is perfect, I would highly recommend a balcony so you can see the amazing views of the mountains and city in the morning and at sunset. We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t ask for anything better!

Brilliant hotel. Brilliant location. We are not vegetarian or vegan but the vegan food here was fantastic. Better than anything else we ate in Chiang Mai. The hotel provides refillable bottles for shampoo, shower gel and conditioner so no wasteful single use plastics. Tea and coffee were available 24/7 in the foyer. Proper hot water urns, no flasks with Luke warm water :-) The room was really comfortable with a balcony for drying clothes. Everything, everywhere, was spotlessly clean. The only improvement I can suggest is that they could advertise a policy to avoid changing towels every day unless the customer wants clean towels every day.

Cannot speak highly enough of Tiger House, it’s staff, and restaurant. The veggie/vegan restaurant made traveling with my Vegan daughter easy. Very comfortable room with view, pool accessible, and the most helpful and friendly staff I have ever experienced. Would have stayed in Chiang Mai longer had I known what a great place this is.

The entire staff were exceptional, the staff on reception went above and beyond our expectations, especially Phang. Food was amazing, rooms extremely comfortable, however the internet on the 4th floor wasn’t great, so if this is important for you maybe lower floors would be better. If you find it hard to climb stair I would recommend a lower level. The view however from the four floor is wonderful. We would stay again thanks again to the entire team at Green Tiger.

The Green Tiger Guesthouse is a jewel in Old town, it far exceeded our expectations. The food is so wonderful, we found it difficult to choose to eat anywhere else. The coconut milk yoghurt was a discovery, I’m looking forward to trying to make it at home. We’re not typically vegan, but as my daughter said, if we could eat at the Green Tiger every day it would be an easy change to make. Everything about the hotel is beautifully designed, it’s a space that makes you feel good. The staff are warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. We had a scheduling problem come up that we needed help solving and Paean and Kirt went the extra mile to help us solve it. Our sunrise temple tour guide commented that The Green Tiger is his favorite pickup because the staff are so friendly. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

This hotel was great! I have food allergies (gluten and dairy) and easily ate at the hotel every day. The food was delicious. The hotel staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating - I can't recommend this place enough! If you are staying in Chiang Mai and this hotel is available, I highly recommend staying here!

The Green Tiger House was outstanding! We stayed here for 4 nights in late June 2019. This was the first place we stayed during a 3 week tour of Thailand and have found ourselves comparing everything else to it! The hotel is modest, extremely clean, comfortable beds, good size rooms, wonderful food and AMAZING customer service. (Paeng was sooo helpful with giving us advice and booking trips for us!! Thank you!!) Breakfast was included and was our favorite meal everyday. In fact, we ate here for other meals too because the food was so good. The location is perfect for anyone exploring the great city of Chaing Mai. Cannot recommend more!!
