친절하고 깔끔하고 굉장히 만족. 와이너리 호텔을 원한다면 여기 강추! 다만 렌트카를 이용해서 간다면 여유두고 가야할겁니다. 찾기 힘들수도 있음.

토스카나 와이너리에서 숙박할 수 있었던 특별한 경험이었습니다. 숙소 건너편에 위치한 레스토랑에서의 식사도 만족스러웠구요. 편안한 분위기에 토스카나에서 더 좋은 추억 만들고 왔습니다.

This hotel is a gem! I loved the fact that it has a winery and you can schedule a tour. The staff is very friendly, especially Gaetano who was very helpful assisting us with directions and giving us suggestions for restaurants near the area, not just the one at the hotel. The hotel food was fabulous our stayed was a pleasure, Castello di Fonterutoli Wine Resort is the perfect place for rest and delight the palate.

Room located in a hilltop location in a winery. Like staying in a castle, stone flooring, high ceiling, exquisite decoration, large shared living room/kitchen. Room overlooking countryside and experienced sunset. Breakfast buffet excellent and wide choices. Fine dining excellent food, wine, service.

The room and grounds here are beautiful and tranquil! It was a great getaway for relaxation and taking in beautiful Tuscany. Most of the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. One staff member who works the cafe/bar was less so as he was dismissive and rude (didn’t say hello, rolled his eyes when we gave him 10 for a 4 euro purchase, and ignored us when we said goodbye). I informed management to which they replied that they were sorry to hear and that they would speak to him to understand what happened and why. The rest of the staff was super and we overall enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I were in a Vespa accident and were stuck at the hospital for nearly an entire day. The staff at the resort were extremely hospitable to us when we finally arrived. It was a perfect setting for our recovery. The food was delicious, the views were magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more delightful room.

Great property but lacked updating in technology
The room was lovely but had no tv and had poor internet. Aircon did not work and we were told we couldn’t put it on yet. There was no No safe either as they said never had any issues. The property had a good restaurant on site

From check-in to check-out, all of the staff was extremely warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The property offered various walking trails through its medieval village and own vineyards that gave the perception of being frozen in time. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Tuscany, crisp and fresh air and quiet peacefulness.

Yuri gave me an amazing wine tour! The reception staff was not so friendly, felt a little snobby and unwelcoming. Restaurant staff the same, only one other couple were eating breakfast early in the morning, I sat at a 4 seat table out of the sun and the waitress said "why do you take this table if you are alone? I set it for 4 people?" I offered to move right away then she told me to stay there! No one else even showed up to eat, especially 3-4 people and they had about 20 available tables available! Just rude for no reason! Also, I reserved a mountain bike for touring and a half-plastic, Walmart piece of junk was delivered for riding cross-country, no repair kit, dirty, terrible, big disappointment especially since it came from a nice bike shop that wouldn't even sell a bike that cheap. The room was Spartan, water bottles were given the first night with a sign they would be replaced each day but that never happened, and no water glasses in the room. Will not return. The wine tour was awesome because of Yuri! I would only return for that! The buildings and surrounding landscape was very beautiful.

Hier fühlt man sich wohl... Fonterutoli ist ein ganz kleines Dorf und die Zimmer und Apartments sind auf die verschiedenen alten typisch toskanischen Gebäude verteilt. Sie sind sehr groß und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein absolut riesiges Doppelbett und haben da phantastisch geschlafen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und wird in der Osteria gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite serviert. Abends ist das dann ein Restaurant, in dem man sehr gut essen kann. Es werden auch die hauseigenen Weine & Olivenöl angeboten! Absolut top! Vorher reservieren ist zu empfehlen. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben wirklich sehr schöne Tage hier verbracht und können das Castello Fonterutoli nur empfehlen.

A bit shabby in a really good way
Very authentic ‘small village becomes hotel’- concept. No high level restauration here, many buildings were left in their ‘original’ state. People still living in the village add to the experience. Bit pricey for what you get. You pay for the experience, not for the comfort or service.

Die Wohnung ist toll in einem kleinen Weiler gelegen, der zum Weingut Mazzei in Fonterutoli gehört. Von hier aus ist es mit dem Auto nur eine Viertelstunde bis Siena und eine knappe Stunde bis Florenz. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich Castellina, wo man auch bummeln oder essen gehen kann. Leider ist die Wohnung unpraktisch: Im zweiten Zimmer (neben einem Schlafzimmer), in dem eigentlich genügend Platz ist, steht ein durchgesessenes Sofa und ein kleiner Tisch mit nur einem Stuhl. Ein vernünftiger Tisch mit mehreren Stühlen würde das Ganze deutlich aufwerten. Hinzu kommt, dass eigentlich immer Lärm ist - von dem Gärtner bzw. den Arbeitern, die schon morgens herumbrüllen, vom Hund nebenan, der dauernd bellt, oder den Nachbarn, die um Mitternacht lautstark telefonieren. Dafür sind 150 Euro pro Nacht zu viel.

Great place to stay for couples in the heat of Chanti Tuscany. It is an entire experience of being at a 200 years old Tuscan House in a small quiet medieval village, just at the aide of the vineyards and olives. Great for tracking along the country side.

Romantic Getaway Of Dreams
Stunning location in a beautiful vineyard hamlet. This was the perfect stay as a couple on a special occasion break and so close to beautiful Tuscan towns for day trips. Car absolutely essential :)
