The hotel shows a luxury room in place of its basic room when booking. Parking is extremely limited and cramped. The bathtub looked like it had black mold in the edges and there was a disconnect between the faucet and the tub itself. A white unidentified powder was next to the right side of the headboard.

totally overpriced. dripping air conditioning water in the middle of the room, the worst internet connection Ive had in any hotel/motel stays, unfriendly office rep.

Tv was stopped working. Faucet was broken in the sink. Had to walk to a dark corner of the property to get ice.

We booked a room with 2 queen-size beds for 2 adults and a child. Upon arrival, we were given a room with one queen-size bed and told that they would bring a mattress, we refused and began to insist that we need 2 queen-size beds, we were told there was nothing we could do! The room stinks of cigarettes!

The staff members were super nice, I felt a little unsafe on my first day but eventually got used to it for the rest of the weekend. Really comfy rooms too.

I don't know if the people who rated it never stayed anywhere nice before but this was literally a roach motel. Rooms looked like they've seen crime scenes before, hair and mold in the tubs and bathroom walls. Only thing that looked clean was the bed thank God. But we saw a roach the next morning crawling on the desk next to the TV. I wanted to burn all my clothes but threw EVERYTHING immediately into the washer as soon as I got home.

Our door was opened before we even got to our room , and the front desk would not give us another room, not to mention the door would need to be slammed to be closed.On top of that just a very low quality stay overall .

Need more breakfast options!
Idk who cooked those rubbery ass eggs but there were HORRIBLE!!! That was my first time, and my last time there. I guess if u want something cheap and without your price I guess Carlton Inn is the place to be. But food wise? Try again my boy👎

Light switch socket was broken and in the wall. Bed was super squeaky, before we did anything to make it squeak. But the room gets the job done

Overnight Stay Good, Longer Stays Questionable
Like 👍 my review! We had an overnight stay at "Carlton Inn Midway'' and it met our low expectations when it comes to price, value, and location. We chose the location due to its close proximity to the Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) after landing around 2:00AM and departing the next morning to the Pulaski Chicago Transit Agency Station to Downtown Chicago. We completely forgot about the complimentary shuttle service and should've used it after having issues finding a car sharing service from MDW. The customer service was very helpful especially with the late check in and early check out. The continental breakfast was not reflective of the official photographs on their website but they had varieties including hot and cold foods that can be served. The internet was sufficient for quick emails but the connection wasn't stable. We weren't able to turn on the television and go through other channels successfully, making us curious if they had no cable channels. The furniture in the bedroom and bathroom was outdated but it looks like they are undergoing some renovations in other rooms. We would advise not walking around barefoot since the floors and areas around the room may need deeper cleaning. All in all, the place is great for a quick and overnight stay especially being nearby MDW but it is debatable on staying at the "Carlton Inn Midway" again.

The worst place I stayed during my trip. Room was smelly, air condition was weak, and it was very dirty inside. Bathtub had rusty spots. Very narrow and crowded packing.

The bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the shower and along the baseboard. That really did not matter because I could not take a shower. I let the water run for 10 minutes and it never got hot. I had to compromise with this sink. The handle was broken on the sink so that was also challenging. It was too late for me to go back to the office to address the shower issue since we already went over there to address an issue with the volume on the TV. there was no place to order or purchase food from. The surrounding area looked shady, so I'll was not willing to risk it.

Sink had some black dirt on it, the floors were sticky and there was hair on the bed. It also smelled unclean! At least the staff was nice and helpful!

Outdated rooms, old wallpaper and carpeting. Room and bathroom were clean but not maintained well. No bugs or insects. Fridge and tv worked well.

I had booked this hotel earlier in the day and we did not arrive till late evening, the hotel check in clerk was very nice. After we checked in and took a shower later on that evening we both woke up itching and we took the lower sheet off the bed and it smelled like urine. We took a shower again and packed our things and left, I will never go back here again!!!!!
