십만원 이하면 고려해보시고 아니면 딴데 가시길 시카고 다운타운에서 조금 멀기도 하고 한국에서 보이는 오래된 여관? 이라 생각하시면 될거 같아요

The heater in my newly renovated room was not working properly and I was cold most of the night. I couldn't turn on the the hairdryer because the on/off switch had fallen off the handle. The only chair in the room was very stained. One of the lamps did not work. The alarm clock was also broken. I am surprised they charge as much as they do for rooms!

Great little spot for the night. Staff very friendly and efficient. Room very clean and nice only thing that was disappointing was the bed. It was pretty uncomfortable and drooping in the middle. More than one night and would be a bigger issue

Nice, clean, quiet hotel

This is a nice property with a nice restaurant in a nice (and underserved location). Clean, small, old, pleasant. It's basically an affordable, European style independent property near Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio, many of his homes and buildings, the Hemingway house, downtown Oak Park with easy access to green line train into Chicago or a short drive.

Nice Hotel in an old building. My room was just large enough with a nice bathroom. The staff are friendly here. It has a restaurant with decent if a little pricey food. It does not have a gym, not even a basic one. Although the area is safe enough to walk and jog, the sub-freezing temps made that difficult. Still, it was a comfortable stay and I would choose this hotel again ( especially due to its close proximity to the particular business I was visiting.)

A charming place with history. You give up some modern convenience for that but not a problem really. Staff was very helpful!!

We were greeted with a gruff “name?” And get was fairly rude throughout the check in process. Sets the tone for the hotel experience right there. Rooms are ok, quite dated. Pillows thick and hard and toilet ran throughout the night.

Oak Park Charm

Charming old building; retrofitted rooms are clean, comfortable and functional. Does have different-era quirks that appeal to me; some people may prefer a Hampton Inn. Delightful location, near El stop, restaurants, bakery, shopping. Courteous, helpful staff. Most parking is in a public structure a block away; I lucked out and got one of four spaces that are at the hotel. Restaurant is top-drawer.

What an beautiful old hotel. It has so much potential to be so much better! But it is old and so very much needs to be updated. Carpet. Beds. (mattress was great but the headboard was damaged and actually scotched taped where a piece was broken off.) There were no grab rails in the bathroom to aid someone in climbing in and out of the tub which was an extra floor step up and then down into the tub. Very dangerous for anyone with balance issues, especially in a bathroom where there are so many things to fall and hit your head on. My husband decided not to take a shower for fear of falling in the strange floor set up. The coffee maker did not work where it was set up, but we moved it around until we found a plug in the bathroom that got it going. And there were a lack of plugs for recharging phones or anything that needed plugging in. All of this is due to the age and lack of updating the building. Could be so very nice with some TLC. The staff was great, both when we checked in and out. The restaurant looked amazing. Beautiful! For the cost of the room, an included breakfast would have been nice.
