"Great stay in this historic property, conveniently located in the heart of the George Town UNESCO district, mere steps away from the nearest phenomenal restaurant. The bathroom was OK, and our towels were a bit musty to begin with (but were replaced upon request). However, the beds were super comfortable. We appreciated the daily bottled water and the breakfasts. The morning staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful with suggestions and offers to call taxis; the afternoon/evening staff a little...
"The charm and character of the hotel put it in a class of its own. The staff on the front desk were super helpful. Long after I have forgotten the modern glass slab that we are currently staying in, I will look back with real pleasure on our stay in George Town."
"This is a fantastic hotel and excellent value for money. The rooms are huge and really nicely furnished. The staff can't do enough for you. Although it does not have a restaurant there are plenty of nice places to eat within a 2-3 minute walk. I would highly recommend the Muntri Grove Hotel."
"The staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, especially front desk. Pool area is a very nice place to chill out after a day of exploring. They even serve a lovely afternoon tea snack by the pool. The room was lovely, with so much room to move and great central spot for walking everywhere in George Town."
"stayed here because of the low price, the place feels old and dated. The room was basic but manageable for a short stay. One of the biggest downsides was the lack of internet access in the room. I was told that if I needed Wi-Fi, I’d have to either leave the door open or go sit near the lift area, which was inconvenient and not ideal, especially for privacy or getting work. However the location is very central for food and tourist attraction. "
