“Lovely quirky place hosts and staff were lovely.absolute highlight was the food served in the beautifull train carriage,we both had the steak highly reccomend it as good as the ivy.entertainment both nights really enjoyed,lovely garden. Hosts very hands on and hard working after 7 months hard work hope they can have a little break.”

“Perfect place for our 1 night stay. Lovely area right along the river/canal that you can walk along. There is a restaurant/bar but we headed into Bath for dinner. Breakfast was preordered which was great as it was ready for the time specified in the morning. Lots of options (all cooked - no cereals).”

“The staff were very friendly, and made us feel at home! The room was cozy and the view was beautiful, though the road outside was rather noisy, but it dies down after dark. I was hooked on the Cotswold Stout while we were there, and the town absolutely won our hearts! Highly recommended The Bear if you're around Marlborough!”

“Lovely large room, comfy bed sand very dog friendly. Lots of parking and advantage of park and ride into Bath 10min walk away. Excellent Sunday roast and fantastic breakfast will definitely be back!”

“The room was very dainted could do with a reverb in the bedrooms stayed on the hottest weekend in June and all we had was a old small fan in the room Bathroom could do with a very deep clean. Pub itself was nice. Stuff behind the bar were very friendly. Landlord was grumpy and chose to see it with both their big air-condition fans facing himself.”

“Disappointing stay raised with the manager but no meaningful resolution. The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. The hotel felt in need of a thorough clean and better maintenance. There was thick dust on ledges and surfaces, smeared glass, sticky breakfast tables, dusty artificial plants and noticeable limescale in the bathroom. The extractor fan did not work,...

“전반적으로 만족하였으나 개선 사항이 있습니다. 첫 번째, 수건을 재 사용하고 새것으로 갈아 주지를 않습니다 바닥에 두고 발을 닦은 수건을 방 히터에 올려 두고 말리고 재사용하라고 합니다. 두 번째, 와이파이가 불안정하고 너무 느립니다. 세 번째, 밤 11시가 되면 호텔에 직원이 아무도 없고 모든 문을 잠구어 버려서 완전히 갇히게 됩니다. 작은 호텔이라 이해는 되지만 아무도 없으니까 불안하기도 했습니다.”
