"This was undoubtedly the best place we've stayed in Kerala. A quaint 17th century colonial house converted into a boutique hotel and very well maintained. Spacious bedroom with all the amenities. Check in and check out was very smooth thanks to the ladies Nimisha and Shabana.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Lovely secluded swimming pool. One can have breakfast next to it.
Excellent breakfast choices. Fresh to order various egg options and dosas.
A nice location at the edge of Fort Kochi, away from the crowds, near the water. Still very walkable to restaurants, shopping and other local attractions.
We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!"
"Tissa's Inn is a wonderful hotel decorated with beautiful artwork and antiques. When you arrive you are greeted by warm wonderful people and a fruit punch. The room is large, well appointed and very comfortable. The location is extremely convenient. You can walk to the cultural center, Chinese fishing nets, plenty of shopping, and restaurants.
The pool on the roof is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. The restaurant is outstanding! Chef Biju uses fresh ingredients (fish caught that day), comes to your table to talk to you about your options, and creates incredibly delicious meals. We ate there several nights because of the quality and variety.
Truly, Tissa's Inn is a beautiful accommodation, but the best thing about Tissa's Inn are the people. Sanitha, the reservation manager, made sure our stay was magical from the moment we walked through the door. Everyone who worked there was kind. We would not consider staying anywhere else when we return!"
"Check in was complicated, took a long time there.. and instead of one person copying your passport and takes your signature they need 3 young people with smartphone and all sort of apps and websites.. they told us check in time is in 2pm we came at 3pm and it still wasn't ready. Heavy cigarette smell inside the room and the "hot water" in the shower was chill.. besides all that i can say that the roof is really nice it has cool sitting area, and billiard table, we met some really nice people there."
