โSAPANA LODGE IS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Western comforts, Nepalese style, natural environment with access and inter-action with Elephant Breeding grounds and trainers. i have stayed at Sapana Lodge two times already and will return for a 3rd visit next year.โ
โLoved my stay here. Very nicely run lodgeโ a great choice in the area that provides an upscale experience for a very reasonable amount. The staff were all lovely, the owner ever-present, making sure youโre having a great stay. But the stand-outs were the safari guides, who were so friendly and knowledgeable and worked very hard to ensure a great experience in the park. Saw tons of animalsโso many rhinos!โbut sadly no tigers, though the guides were super committed to trying to spot.โ

โThe owner accommodated us in another property inside the city limits stating that their property is under repair ! The accommodation provided was having just rooms with a/c facility, no hot water, running taps with a kitchen and dining hall. No swimming pool.

โWe stayed here for about 3 days here before and after trekking at Annapurna. The staff is amazing. Firstly, the manager, Ramesh, he helped us to make a trek plan. He organized all things with reasonable prices include guide or porter, trekking permit. Tims, accommodation etc. Also, he helped us to hire a car with driver for half-day to tour round surrounding area. As such, we could tour Pokhara in a short time. โWe had quite a bad experience staying three nights at the Jungle Villa Resort. At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful.
A large number of bad experiences with management was part of ruining the trip for us; incompetent and untrustworthy, lacking understanding of their guests.
