My room was clean and spacious which I was grateful for as I was staying for 5 nights. Hosts were welcoming and helpful and the location was fantastic being opposite the Mall. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to stay again next time I have need to be in Christchurch.

Comfort stay
It was located nicely opposite the mall, which has plenty to shop. But there was road work directly outside the hotel, making it hard to detour and park. The guy at check-in counter was very helpful, even helped us to park the car. Good customer service.

Clean hotel as well as conveniently located
The reception, Helen, is helpful and understanding. I wanted to extend the stay until 6pm but unfortunately it was full. I have a raw salmon to take back to HK which they were very kind to freeze it for me until 6pm. The ambiance is very comfy.

nice motel close to shops
Deans Bush Motel is across the road for the Riccarton Mall. The staff where great and very helpful. the room was very clean and well appiointed.

Nice hotel close to shops and hospital
Friendly staff and clean room. Made the frequent trips to the hospital much easier knowing we had a nice place to rest in.

Lock up your stuff
Motel was tidy and comfortable enough but after being out most of the day returned to find that someone had opened up a brand new packet of chocolate left on the kitchen counter, opened the silver paper, eaten some and then smashed the rest into smithereens- possibly to disguise the fact they had eaten it? However the open packet and silver paper was a give away! Complained to manager who was not unduly concerned at all anc just thrust $3 at my wife for the chocolate, telling her to leave the remains in our room. I just wonder what else the cleaning staff had their sticky fingers into? I would not use this motel again and I will make sure everyone I know hears about our experience through every form of media available to me!

Very Comfortable Stay
We were in Christchurch for work and leisure over Easter, this Motel is not 5 star but it was awesome, friendly and efficient service. The room had everything you need, bed was comfortable, TV channels excellent. Also walking distance to several eating options. Directly opposite Westfield Riccarton Mall so no worry about car parking.

Enjoyable stay in a comfortable and generously sized room, The ample kitchenette facilities allowed our 4 night stay to be a good mixture of dining in and out.

Terrible shower and very dated
We stayed in the double room motel unit, the shower barely dribbled out and was very low pressure. The room is quite dated and not worth anywhere near the $180 paid. The place needs a major revamp

Good place to stay, near to shopping center
Tidy, very clean accommodation. A bit of street noise during the night but we expected that, as Motel is located at a main road. Would definitely stay there again and can recommend it to everybody. Thank you :)

Our second visit in 2 weeks as we had travelled around the South Island. All good.

Excellent location
Location location.... Right opposite shopping mall everything available in short walking distance.Some street noise expected, but quiet later in the night.Shower a little fiddly.Otherwise a comfortable stay and a very friendly host.
