"Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Basically the worst hotel i have ever seen. None of the pictures matched from what was shown on Expedia’s website. It was dirty, dusty, and borderline uninhabitable. I had to scramble last minute to book a different hotel which was very hard to find with it being last minute. Please don’t look at the pictures to decide on staying here. It is really really TERRIBLE!! Hopefully, i will get refund since I didn’t stay there."

"Very nice hotel, large rooms, recently renovated, very quiet for sleeping. They were very full. Staff was pleasant. Great Lake view. Nice Alaskan decor. The one thing I noticed was a towel and pillow case were neat but not clean- hopefully a fluke. We arrived late so I didn’t say anything. They have a microwave -one on second floor but they really need to clean the area or place microwave on a cabinet. It reminded me of a dorm. The exercise area needs some work."

"A real surprise, Fun, informative driver picks you up upon arrival and drops you at your final destination at your schedule, and is a font of information, Desk staff makes you feel like a valued guest. The morning man turns out to be a gourmet chef (in Alaska everyone has multiple jobs) so the "standard" motel breakfast included the best scrambled eggs, juicy sausage patties, breakfast potatoes and wonderful baked goods. Near the main entrance of Merritt Field, the neighbor hood is not prettiest, but is quiet and safe, the room is not the fanciest but very comfortable. A great, affordable find!"
