The bed was really hard and we travelled for 3 weeks in Japan staying in a budget hotel to a high end hotel and this was the worst nights sleep we had the entire trip. The room needs attention as the carpet had a rip and was dirty but the staff were super nice and very attentive. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? "The staff was very kind and helpful! Check in was easy and the front desk helped me send my luggage to my next stop. Everyone was warm and welcoming, from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff. Thank you!"

"今回で2回目の利用となります。しまなみ海道サイクリングのスタート地点として立地が非常に便利なので、今回もこちらを選びました。
スタッフの皆様は大変親切で、丁寧に対応していただき、とても心地よく過ごすことができました。お部屋にダイソンのドライヤーが備え付けられていたのには感動しましたし、ウェルカムギフトのお菓子とゼリーも嬉しかったです。また、朝食ビュッフェも素晴らしく、朝から元気をチャージできました。
また尾道に来る際は、ぜひ利用させていただきたいと思います。ありがとうございました。"

"This was perhaps the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Japan. It’s clean, new, and the hotel staff were wonderful! The location cannot be beat. The hotel price is also very reasonable. The space is large, but I think the restroom layout was my favorite!! I would book with this hotel again when I come back to Hiroshima. Excellent!!"

"A gem for a family of 4 traveling. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the onsen is great. I’m not Japanese but I know clean and when something is well cared for.
The sauna is great. The onsen was never too busy and the water was clean.
Breakfast was not great but the onsen makes it worth it."
