"The location is excellent. The staff are excellent, very helpful and welcoming. View of Etna sunrise and sunset, with cocktails (Taormina) should not be missed. Hotel has old school charm. Room was comfortable with great views. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of food."

"Our stay at Villa Paradiso was exceptional! The people there are completely devoted to ensuring you have the best experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and spoiled by their Sicilian hospitality. The team of people at reception, including Francesco and Rafaella, offered their professional advice on day trips and restaurant choices all of which were phenomenal. The rooftop area for breakfast and pre dinner drinks and appetizers provided an amazing view, delicious food and again exceptional people providing warm and hospitable service. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, spotless and well appointed. The location was perfect to access the many impressive restaurants and shops around the beautiful town. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Absolutely perfect location: a private peninsula right by the sea, with its own beach and seawater pool — it couldn’t have been better. The ideal place to end the autumn season: swimming and reading under the sun. The hotel’s shuttle made getting to Taormina’s center quite convenient, but the best part was definitely our base here — a room with a stunning sea view. The staff were lovely and welcoming."

"You cannot beat the view from this hotel of mount etna, the coast and Taormina from above - it was outstanding. You saw this from the restaurant, the infinity pool and also our room. It does mean you are above the town which requires a walk down a fair number of steps into town (and back up) or use of the free hourly hotel shuttle, but the walk is also beautiful and was very doable in October’s mild weather. It also means you are aware from the crowds in a very quiet area. The hotel felt warm and homely and the service was excellent. We loved having a cocktail in the cosy lounge in the evening whilst relaxing on the sofas. Rooms were comfortable with a choice of pillows. Air con was on the noisy side but wasn’t essential for us in Autumn. Parking was very easy on the street outside of the hotel and free. Overall, it was on the pricey side but worth paying a bit more for getting to stay somewhere quite special. "
