"Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. Lucia gave us an amazing hike recommendation that turned out to be the highlight of the trip — the surrounding nature is absolutely stunning in October (insane fall colours!) and perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. And the view from the pool? Maybe the best I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t recommend it more."
"If your traveling to northern Italy to see the alto Adige, Mountain Kronplatz, or any of western Dolomites you will find B&B Villa La Bercia in Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol and be greeted by Giovanna, your hostess in her beautiful home built by her parents as a holiday house 50 some years ago. Her home is warm and inviting, friendly and clean comfortable place to sleep. She offers coffee, tea, yogurt with pastry and eggs cooked how you like in the morning. Our double room with a lovely balcony was tasteful and relaxing. Giovanna and her daughter maintain a lovely B&B where you feel at home, treated like family. Walking distance to a couple restaurants in the evening. "
Stoa - Elegant & Romantic Guest House (Adults Only)
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I have just spent 5 nights at Stoa and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Stoa is an intimate, family run guest house, the service, from all staff, is impeccable - it really is a hidden gem in the Dolomites. Special mention to the incredible evening buffet - every evening it was different and consistently amazing - and the rooftop spa; perfect after a day of hiking. We will definitely be back. "
