"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. "If you want to freeze, stay here. The Hotel is very nice, staff are ok, breakfast is good, location is excellent however, we purchased a room with a balcony and it was very nice. However, we were freezing….19.2 C. We called and asked if we could get a space heater or if they could increase the temperature to 21C. They said they would increase the temperature to 21C but after an hour it hadn’t increased. We called down twice and they. just hung up on us. In order to get warm we had to run the hair dryer and shower in order to get warm…..that’s crazy when you paying $350 per night for a room. Like I said if you want to freeze stay here!"
