Staff very attentive as a small intimate Quinta. Beautifully decorated, staff friendly, rooms very comfortable and Paula the owner even went out of her way to make us welcome and help with our needs. Must have a car but from here we were roughly 1hr from many sites we wanted to see while having a home base in a quiet and picturesque area.

Very friendly staff, my wife has mobility issues and we were allowed to park in the area for easy walking. The building itself was modern with awesome views. Very nice sitting area, pool for those who choose to swim. Large sunning area, breakfast was pretty good. The drive in from main road is an old track, slow going and tight.

The hotel is situated halfway up the hill, overlooking the softly winding Douro River and its surrounding landscapes. Birds chirp in the mountains, and the occasional sound of dogs barking only adds to the tranquility. The room is very clean and bright, and you can enjoy the beautiful view while lying in bed. Even more commendable are the two young staff members, Diego and Camilo, who serve guests with warmth and courtesy. They are sincere and friendly, without any trace of the typical commercial atmosphere. I hope I can stay at this hotel again.

Il n’y a pas d’air climatisé. Le soir, c’était assez frais pour être agréable mais il n’y a pas de moustiquaires donc nous devions fermer les fenêtres à cause des moustiques abondants. La qualité de l’hébergement déjà excellente en serait améliorée grandement.
