Very creative with the mezzine floor in the room providing an extra double bed and wardrobe. Very comfortable beds. Situated very near to the train station and free shuttle to the cruise terminal, very handy.

Very tired rooms with damaged plaster from a previous leak and walls badly scuffed from suitcases….. black mold in the shower ……bed was reasonably comfortable and at a push ok for 1 night if catching a cruise

Nice view but definitely only a 3 Star hotel. Nice area with good restaurants but the hotel staff was poorly trained, the coffee was temped. They were helpful getting us to the cruise ship.

Unfortunately, the bathroom and downstairs area were very humid and smelled like mold. Shower tub reflected mold in areas. No ventilation so humidity was high. Reception, breakfast eating area and staff were fabulous.

Very nice room, with super nice bathroom (including fully enclosed shower with 3 modes). Located up a flight of stone steps in a quiet pedestrian way just off the busy central area. Nice rooftop breakfast. Traffic is restricted part of day, so plan arrival and departure time accordingly if by taxi. Close to busses and ferries to other towns on the coast.

Our room was ready slightly early and was very clean. We had a loft with a terrace and it was beautiful. The staff were accomodating in getting us to the cruise port. The wifi was poor but that was alright. We loved Bistrot 34 where we met a friend and the bartender was lovely. They have a breakfast for about $10. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are exactly what you would expect of an older late 19th century hotel. They are still in the process of renovating and upgrades but the construction went unnoticed as we saw none of it. It's just a work in progress. The staff was absolutely fabulous! Anything we asked or needed was taken care of immediately. Everything from help with luggage tags for our cruise, to questions about our room, to to helping with a taxi (The reception was not willing to give up when he could not get an answer initially until he got us a taxi) They do have a shuttle service but reserve that early as they fill up very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast, coffee, pretty much everything that should have been hot was cold. Server was trying hard to make things better but someone apparently forgot to light up the burners. Also most reception staff were friendly and helpful. However the one we checked in with was not very welcoming. Room layout overall nice but hard to get into one side of the bed with an Armour cabinet too close to the bed.

Staff was Wonderful. When my flight was delayed, I advised them & they made sure my shuttle pick up from the airport was changed accordingly. Helpful with all my inquiries. The restaurant for dinner was very basic & although the food was good, I would have liked more options on the menu

This is an older hotel but is centrally located. Close to numerous reastaurants and shops. The staff was very attentive and quickly resolved any issues we had (A/C was not working properly) we enjoyed the stay but would not want to stay for an extended stay since there are limited activities in the area.

After Rome, this was a sweet find for 1 night before heading on our cruise. We had an ocean view in a spacious room with the bed upstairs and the kids downstairs (we picked the room in advance), walking distance to everything including the train station, dining, beach, and town. The staff was nice from arrival to check out. The buffet breakfast was pretty decent. While clean, it is an older building so that is evident ... we were ok with it though. Would definitely revisit if staying longer in Civitavecchia (honestly, restaurants closeby were also great!).
