The property was located in a quiet neighborhood, but was conveniently situated near places to eat, the train station and the livelier downtown area. The property was beautiful and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We would most certainly stay there again.

What a wonderful property! We arrived super early after our cruise and we able to enjoy the pool while we waited for our room to be ready, which they quickly completed and allowed us to check in super early. It will definitely be our go to next time we are cruising out of Rome

Beautiful impressive looking Italiante home with lovely pool and gardens. It is a short taxi ride from the train station and town, but short walking distance to a small grocer, a bar, icecream/coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The room was large, clean and had everything you could need including some snacks, beverages and a small refrigerator. A perfect relaxing place for the night before a cruise! The property does border the train, but there is a tall stucco wall for privacy and sound protection so it was not disruptive.

We had a last-minute reservation at Palazzo Podestà and were warmly welcomed by the owners of this stunning property. The outdoor area of this hotel is magnificent! Everything on the property and in our room was spotless. The room was very small (it was a loft but we didn’t use the second story at all). No elevator - use the beautiful marble stairs!

We been there 2 days before catching a cruise. We really enjoyed the quiet time all day at the pool and specially spend times under the patio to talk, listen musique, sing, drinks; il will remember this time all my life with my daugther. Nice souvenirs memories. Quiet room, good and safe organisation. The orwners are really nice and ready to reserve a taxi or anythings else. Nice coffee shop express nere the House Hope to return one day.

Was not totally happy with our stay. The “complimentary” food items were sort of “dated” while we had a view of the sea it also had the train so that wasn’t too fun. Wouks love to have sat outside in the garden but no comfy chairs. The room was fine for a night before a cruise. It was lovely to have an early check in…. NO welcome gift offered per the website descriptions Love the flowers

The property was beautiful but we soon learned it was a converted house. There were only 5 rooms and no one worked at the front desk unless someone was checking in. Even when we left we were alone. The property is not convenient to the downtown area and we also learned they're are no taxis or ubers at night so we had to walk along a dark road. On Expedia it said they had wine tasting and breakfast for a small charge. They didn't have either. It also said they have a shuttle. I was asked if we needed a ride to the cruise ship and I said yes. I paid 6 euros which seemed cheap but it was for a shuttle. The van did pick us up but then proceeded to charge us 20 euros, so I guess the desk clerk charged a booking fee but did not explain it to us. Overall the stay was nice but it reminds me more of an airbnd rather than a hotel. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful. It also has a lovely ocean view. Make sure you have international calling incase you need help from the staff which we did because the QR code we were given to unlock our door stopped working. I am grateful the clerk answered my calls/text messages. Id give it a 3.5 star rating, nice place but not full service.

Very nice family run property. Cristiano vert helpful with arranging transport from the airport as well as to our cruise ship. Property is very clean The rooms have Air-conditioning There is a pool to cool off in as summers can be hot. Walking distance to the beach. There is no restaurant on site however it within walking distance of restaurants a supermarket and authentic pizzeria [which was delicious). There is an expresso machine, expresso, milk juice muffins, cereal, and snacks in the room. Cristiana and her son Mario and her husband were helpful. It also has spa e to host weddings Would recommend and would stay again if we return to Civitavecchia

We loved the Palazzo Podestà in Civitavecchia! It was above and beyond our expectations. The property was an amazing getaway with luxurious amenities and looks like a dream. The enormous junior suite had high ceilings and a large balcony with spectacular views of the water. The staff was very helpful with our requests of local dining, cultural activities, and transportation needs. The perfect location for staying near the port for your next cruise!
