Strangely for a key service industry, every bona fide customer enquiry gave rise to a litany of service supplier problems endured by the owner. Contrary to the marketing blurb, there was no wifi in the bedroom and it was not dependable even in the lobby. Multi channels were promised also but there was no signal and/or decent picture except for two stations. Eventually, on suggesting that one could be relocated from one of the many unoccupied rooms, we were provided with the plug for our bath. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good but no other meals were available. Bar was serviced by owner in the evening in between covering reception. The Halcyon spa had never actually opened. At check out, the card machine was not working so we were despatched to an ATM at the local petrol station.
