โI was on a biking adventure, an annual thing that happens around my birthday, and looking for a place to stay in Lake County. Thorn Hill is in a beautiful location that also happened to be convenient for me.โ

โThe rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. โHad an amazing visit here this October! Everyone was very friendly, we got a personal tour around the vineyard followed by a wine tasting. The space was all very recently renovated, so everything was clean and new. The next morning, we even got a private chef breakfast! It was really nice having some peace and quiet away from busier Napa for a night. Next time I would want to bring some food to cook with us, since it is worth noting that there aren't many restaurant options in the area, but...
โI loved the cottage I stayed in! Having a kitchenette, porch, A/C were awesome! The only issues were; no screen on door; shower curtain rings wouldn't stay in place.
Also fun were mini-golf, badminton, hot tub, pool, paddle boat.
