Amazing hidden gem just off the beaten path. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed. Such cute one and 2 bedroom cabins. I’m so glad we decided to book here despite some bad reviews. The staff are very friendly too and have a little restaurant and snack items in lobby. Breakfast was beyond great. Eggs, homemade hash browns, bacon, sausage. I’m so glad we never made the mistake and stayed in town on the busy highway at any of the brand hotels.

Rustic property. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The restaurant served a great pork schnitzel dinner. Fantastic location in the heart of the park. Even had a nice porch/sitting area outside the room. Could use a few more chairs. We did have a little mouse come in, but that can happen in the great outdoors.

Staff was excellent, they really worked hard to make the stay work for us. The cabins are wonderful and very accommodating. There are some minor issues but that comes with aging infrastructure as the buildings are aging. Would recommend however due to friendliness of staff and proximity to many great hikes.

If you love, mice, this is the place for you. We were entertained the whole night through with several mice in our room.. they got into everything we owned, chewed the carpet and tried to chew through the wall to get out of the room, which kept us awake all night. I don’t believe this is isolated as there was mouse droppings in the men’s washroom in the main lodge as well. I spoke to the manager in the morning and was offered a $30 off discount.. I’ve told him it was not appropriate for the level of disturbance we had through the night.. nothing else was done. I would avoid staying here until the mouse situation is resolved.. There were at least three mice in our room.. one was partying in the bathroom, it chewed all the toilet paper off the roll, and two in the main room. We had all our food off the floor up on the table and they still managed to get into it.. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but please be aware. Regards

Going with the flow.

We loved this place, off the grid, no cell service and limited WIFI, it had childhood summer camp vibes and it is located perfectly. It’s RUSTIC but that is why I adored it. Tiny restaurant, which after a day of hiking was perfect. It’s quiet and lovely. Bring a book and bug spray - you’ll love it.

Wonderful staff and the views and surrounding area gorgeous. The frog and bird sounds were wonderful to hear. It was a 20 minute drive up into the park and is NOT located within Clearwater. The room was quite aged, and had a musty/mildew smell and there were several spider webs and their occupants. Location was stellar, and a not very picky traveler will appreciate the peace and quiet very much.

Not something to go crazy about. Sheets were dirty and distinct smell. Commode was loose and noisy. Bath tub was old and it was on its last leg. Check in and check out was easy and polite. Fan didn’t work in room. Obviously the cabin is without AC. It is what it is.

It appeared that very little maintenance has been done for several yrs . Window blinds did not work , we had to hang towels over the windows . The cobwebs were thick , porch and decks are rotten .

Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen. Am schlimmsten aber sind die hygienischen Zustände. Im Urlaub möchte man sich wohlfühlen, das ist hier nur schwer möglich… Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Der Burger war totgebraten und der Rest ist Tiefkühlkost - alles zu einem stolzen Preis. Nur die Lage ist super!
