“We used the Hotel as a base for visiting Burghley Horse Trials and it was just ideal. Room was spotless and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. It was the perfect setting to wind down after a long day with a lovely cup of coffee. The staff kindly started the fabulous breakfast earlier than usual to allow everyone to get on the road. Car Park is quite limited on spaces but able to park on lane which always had spaces. ”

“A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.”

“This was a realy nice venue to stay at. The single room was fine for me and comfortable, the rooms are to the rear of the Inn in an annex. All the food was nice and well presented. The staff very very pleasnant and helpful.
The village is very quiet so for that quiet getaway you would be wise to think of here”
