Nice stay with good value

The room is clean and comfortable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. A good option for those who would stay overnight for the wine cellar visits.

Te Matatini experience

Under new management recently and the manager/owner was very good. Informed me on how to get to the Hastings Sports Ground , where to have dinner etc. Room was clean and tidy and recently renovated. Yes the shower cubicle is small but standard back in the day. Everyone is so use to having bigger shower areas these days. Just don't spend much time in the shower is all I can say.

A really nice motel! Very clean, with a cute little garden. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Definitely a great place to stay

Frequent traveller

Sadly the managers/owners were busy, so check in was brief and of little value. Shower cubucle tiny, hard for someone with limited mobility to move in. Room clean, well presented and spacious. Have stayed before and would again but would request different room. Access to dining across the road is good not needing to travel to dine or drink.

Great small town motel, with easy access to 2 larger cities and cycle ways going in all directions

Was only there from 9 at night till 9 the next morning so didn't get to see much of it. The staff were lovely and the room was quite nice

Lovely staff. Comfortable beds.

Wonderful friendly staff. We arrived late and they had turned the room heat pump on so it was nice and warm when we arrived. Room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Nice and clean. Definitely will stay there again.

What a great little spot, close to the Hawkes Bay cycle ways, literally at the door. Splash Planet is only a few minutes up the road, restaurants across the street. The motel is quiet, clean and comfortable and I'll definitely be back
